Collection of damages for demurrage and worsening of quality of handled cargo

Stevedoring company brought a claim to collect part of price for performed handling of cargo works.  At the same time, the reason of refusal to pay this part of pricewas demurrage of vessels "Sestroretsk" and "Zigfrid Lemann" and due to worsening of quality of handled cargo (biofuel).

Our services in the case

As a result of acknowledgent of mutual claims for both claims of the parties, the court of appeal covered the claim of stevedoring company by claim of "Evans Holdings" LLC. The rest of the counter claim, not covered by mutual acknowledgement, was ordered in favor of "Evans Holdings" LLC, including damages and judicial expenses. The decision was unheld by all instances.
